The Associate Qualitative Scientist is a full-time, in-house consumer understanding professional who will work with the Qualitative Lead Scientist to schedule, coordinate, and aid in qualitative consumer research for the technical community and business teams. Strong communication skills (oral and written) and analytical skills are a must, as is the ability to interact with clients with professionalism.
* BA/BS Food Science or Sensory Science or equivalent /3-4 years experience or Masters Degree/2 years experience with strong working knowledge of product-focused consumer research.
* Broad knowledge of sensory evaluation and other related technical fields, such as physiology, psychology and statistics.
* Strong communication skills: interpersonal, written, and oral.
* Strong organization skills
* Innovative and inquisitive self-starter.
* Has interest and passion to gain focus group moderating skills and experience
* Ability to manage a fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrates intellectual curiosity
* Has interest in researching consumer, product, and technology trends.
* Has understanding of analytical data and integration with qualitative.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft software, Compusense
