Purpose

The Associate Brand Manager will be a member of a high performance team whose vision is taking gum to irresistible experiences people never imagined.

Reporting to the US/Canada Gum Innovation Brand Manager, the Associate Brand Manager will be collaborating with the brand teams and other key cross-functional partners to develop, lead, and execute gum innovation initiatives in order to achieve business objectives across the US and Canada.


Accountabilities

Under the general direction of the Brand Manager, the Associate Brand Manager will be:

- Responsible for leading a cross functional team in development work of assigned product packaging and claims related Innovation Projects that support and drive innovation agenda.

- Responsible for understanding US and Canada consumer in order to identify compelling consumer insights and translate them into winning innovation projects.

- Responsible for partnering with the US and Canadian Base Brand Teams to effectively incorporate core brand equities and reflect strategic intent into innovation projects.

- Collaborate with Global team to actively participate on aligned / join-up Innovation opportunities.

- Responsible for prospecting, assessing and sizing new/untapped business opportunities.

- Responsible for developing and progressing assigned Innovation Projects through the Cadbury Innovation Management System.

- Responsible for ad hoc category and trend analysis to support the Gum Innovation Team.
 


Pre-Requisites

• 2-5 years of marketing or related business experience. 

• Bachelor’s in business or related area. MBA strongly preferred.

• Proven track record of delivering commercial opportunities to drive sales and profitable growth.

• Ability to pioneer new thoughts, research and development as well as champion new ideas.

• Strong project management skills, as well as management of competing demands simultaneously in a fast paced environment.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills working with many levels within the organization.

• Solid analytical, problem solving and business/commercial skills.

• Strong computer skills specifically in Microsoft Office.
